Dr. Mahadir Ahmad has bachelor degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology from UMS and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from UKM. He obtained his PhD in Health & Clinical Psychology from the College of Life Sciences and Medicine, University of Aberdeen, UK.Dr. Mahadir Ahmad has bachelor degree in Industrial & Organisational Psychology from UMS and master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from UKM. He obtained his PhD in Health & Clinical Psychology from the College of Life Sciences and Medicine, University of Aberdeen, UK.
His research interests include behavioural medicine, psychological prehabilitation for cancer, psychosocial intervention & community mental health.
He provides psychological services at Health Psychology Clinic, UKM. He gives private consultation on psychological trauma for torture victims, Employee Assistance Programme and psychological first aid. He was appointed as an international classifier for athlete with intellectual impairments in several Paralympic Games.
